Who We Are and What We Do
Visit Pleasant Hill is Pleasant Hill’s official destination marketing organization. We are not a department of the City of Pleasant Hill. Our role is to attract visitors, encourage overnight stays and grow the local visitor economy.
Our work is funded through the Pleasant Hill Tourism Improvement District, which provides dedicated funding for destination marketing designed to increase overnight visitation and benefit Pleasant Hill’s lodging businesses.
We market Pleasant Hill as a convenient, welcoming, and affordable place to stay while exploring the Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Northern California. By driving hotel bookings and visitor spending, we help generate hotel tax revenue that supports city services, local jobs, and community vitality.
Our work includes promoting Pleasant Hill hotels, highlighting local restaurants and shopping, producing visitor guides and digital content, managing tourism partnerships, and collaborating with regional and community partners to increase awareness of Pleasant Hill as a destination.

Patricia “Trish” Snowden serves as President and CEO of Visit Pleasant Hill, where she leads destination marketing efforts focused on growing the local visitor economy and supporting the city’s hotels, restaurants, and businesses.
With more than 30 years of experience in hospitality and tourism, Trish brings a strong background in hotel operations, destination marketing, and regional travel trends. Her work centers on increasing overnight visitation and positioning Pleasant Hill as a convenient, welcoming base for exploring the East Bay and greater Bay Area.
